The Pickleball Court Drying Miracle

The Pickleball Court Drying Miracle

As we approach the Spring which is considered the “rainy season”, nothing is worse than wanting to go play pickleball and the courts are all wet from seasonal showers.  Using conventional squeegees, sponge/foam rollers, blowers, etc., never really got them dried.  Not to mention if it were nighttime and the sun isn’t out to help dry them it was pretty much a foregone conclusion that there would be no playing going on.  That is until the VAPTR ROLLR showed up on the scene!  This machine is the invention of Justin & Tiphanie Stewart who “Mr. Wizard’d” this miraculous device and after several iterations, we now have the completed outcome of their hard work, the VAPTR ROLLR!

Justin & Tiphanie Stewart, Inventors of the VAPTR ROLLR

Designed to Dry not Just Remove

As Justin thought about building something that could alleviate this problem, he made a distinctive shift in his thinking and that was he wanted to create a product that didn’t just remove water from courts but dried them, and there’s a difference.  Pushing water or moisture around isn’t the same as drying.  A lot of other products did just that, just moved water around but didn’t necessarily dry courts.  VAPTR’s design wicks away water from the courts surface and then lets you empty all the water you’ve gathered in an area away from the playing surface.

Push It Real Good (no batteries, electricity, gas, required)

Another brilliant design feature is that this device is not power-dependent, which means no worries about charging, fueling, or it being inoperative.  It runs on “push power”, that means you simply push this across the court surface, and it amazingly removes the water.  This is so clever as many of the devices we use almost in any application require charging, fuel, or batteries for it to work or be operative.  Can you imagine having a rain event and the thing that can dry your courts is not charged, or is out of gas or some kind of fuel, the batteries have gone dead for some reason?  Well, not the case for the VAPTR ROLLR, it easily rolls nearly anywhere with a multi-wheel undercarriage, making it easy for it to go through any gated courts with ease and get to work drying up your courts.

This Product Really Sucks (I mean removes water)

The VAPTR ROLLR removes up to 95% of surface water in just one pass!  Which speaks volumes about the absorbent fabric used with their roller that produces this result in only one pass, in multiple passes it dries in remarkable time.  The average drying time for a pickleball court can be approximately 7 minutes with a single VAPTR ROLLR.  Keep in mind many factors determine drying times due to air temperature, surface temperature, sunlight, wind, humidity, court surface material, and more.  In some instances, courts have dried in as little as 5 minutes.

The VAPTR ROLLR is Worth Every Drop (of water, that is)

If you’re running a tournament or you’re courts are jammed packed with players, and the weather becomes inclement having this device will save the day and make you a 5.0 with the players on the courts, you know…the courts were unplayable just a few minutes ago, and that are now dry from the VAPTR ROLLR!
