Ben Johns Does It Again In His Hometown | PPA n2grate DC Open Recap & Result

The PPA, Professional Pickleball Association, just wrapped up in DC. For Ben Johns and older brother, Collin Johns, this was a homecoming. They grew up in the area and Collin trained at this facility for years on his journey to becoming a professional tennis player. Collin returned to this facility as the #1 mens doubles team in the world… in pickleball.

Ben Johns was the star of the weekend capturing another triple crown. In pickleball, a triple crown in when a player wins gold in all three events: mens/womens doubles, mixed doubles and singles. At the top level, the three events require very unique set of skills making it very hard to be #1 in all three. However, Ben Johns continues to prove that he is the #1 player in the world in mens doubles, mixed doubles, and singles.
